Yeah I think so too.

Be great if he could put in a decent performance too.

I understand the promotion of the fight has been pretty much non-existent over there?

Re: GGG V Canelo Alverez
Yeah Lane was the man.

The whole thing is a shambles ever since Fury had a "back injury" and had to pull out of the original fight 6 months ago. Well, longer actually since he somehow manged to become the mandatory challenger despite having absolutely no claim to the position.

He'd have had a neutral ref and 3 neutral judges if he'd fought down here.

Probably why he didn't want to.

Re: GGG V Canelo Alverez
Mils lane was my favorite ref .....

i dont think theres much to worry about in bias with an English referee , different story with judges tho , promoters should not be able to pick judges for their own fights

East Auckland Hammer 11:49 Mon Sep 18
Re: GGG V Canelo Alverez
You'd think that a neutral ref would just be a given really, wouldn't you?

For a world heavyweight title fight, even if it's the shit belt.

Just about everybody involved in the fight has said they want a neutral ref, although I wouldn't trust the Fury's as far as I could throw them.
